About the exchange rates

Rates are requested from ExchangeRate-API’s daily feed. Inspect the timestamp before use. If the request fails, no conversion is shown. A bank or money changer can apply a different rate, spread or fee.

FAQ

Are these the rates I will get?

These are daily reference rates, not executable quotes. Your provider may apply a spread or fee.

Rates are indicative and for information only, not a quote.

Use the result with confidence

Check the rate date before the amount

Choose the source currency and destination currency, then enter an amount. Rates come from ExchangeRate-API’s daily reference feed. “Refresh” requests its latest published data; it does not turn a daily feed into a live market quote. The provider timestamp appears beside the result.

Understand a cross-rate

The feed quotes currencies per USD. Conversion uses amount ÷ source rate × destination rate. As a hypothetical example, if 1 USD = 4 MYR and 1 USD = 1.25 SGD, then 100 MYR converts to 31.25 SGD. These example rates are not current quotations.

Why your bank pays a different amount

A bank or broker may apply a spread, a transfer fee or a different valuation time. These costs are not included. If the feed fails or a currency is missing, the tool displays no conversion rather than substituting an old built-in estimate. Retry later and verify the final executable quote with your provider.
