How Numbrite handles calculator inputs, browser storage, external services, advertising and contact emails.
Operator and scope
Numbrite is operated by NumNum. Privacy enquiries: nowonderisme@gmail.com. This notice covers the website and its optional market-data service, updated on 14 October 2026. External websites, including Gumroad and Yahoo Finance, have their own policies.
Calculator inputs
Ordinary calculator and text-conversion operations run in your browser. The current website has no Numbrite account system or application backend that stores those calculator inputs. This does not mean visiting the website creates no network records: hosting and third-party resources can receive request information.
Browser preferences and hosting
The website uses localStorage for theme, language and DividenNote preferences. DividenNote keeps holdings, dividend records, notes, price snapshots and income goals under numbrite-dividennote-v1; market connection settings and the automatic refresh switch are stored separately. Shares, purchase costs, dividend amounts, notes and backup contents are not sent to Numbrite or Yahoo. JSON imports are read locally and exports create files on your device. Records are not encrypted. Clearing site data or changing devices can remove or separate them; export a backup first. Hosting providers may log IP addresses, URLs, request times and browser details according to their retention settings.
External resources and downloads
Pages may load Google Fonts and jsDelivr libraries. Currency conversion and DividenNote request public rates from open.er-api.com, without sending portfolio records. Stock search sends your search words and selected market to the configured Numbrite market service; price refresh sends stock symbols and markets. This optional server adapter requests Yahoo Finance data and temporarily caches public search/price responses for 15 minutes to one hour. Rate limiting temporarily keeps hashed client IPs for a one-minute window; bounded cache slots can retain expired public responses until overwritten. The service has no journal database. Numbrite hosting can log these request URLs; Yahoo receives the server request and its IP. Automatic stock refresh is off by default and, when enabled, runs every 15 minutes while the page is visible. M3U8 downloads contact the playlist and segment servers you specify. External services receive the network information needed to serve requests.
Google advertising and cookies
Some pages load Google AdSense code. Where ads are served, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads based on visits to this and other websites. Third parties may place or read cookies, use web beacons or process IP addresses. Availability and personalisation depend on configuration, location and applicable consent requirements. Email and your choices
If you email NumNum, your address, message and any attachments are handled through Gmail to respond to your enquiry. Provide only the information needed. You may email requests concerning access, correction or deletion of information you supplied; applicable rights and necessary record retention depend on the circumstances. You can also clear browser storage, manage cookies and use Google’s advertising controls.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website’s services or data practices change. The date above identifies this version. Contact NumNum if you need clarification before using a tool.
Text to speech
The speech tool does not save entered text in local storage, upload it to Numbrite or include it in analytics events. Voices are supplied by the browser or operating system. Online or unconfirmed voices may transmit text to the relevant speech provider. Labels rely on browser reports and do not mean Numbrite can inspect that provider’s data processing.
Favorites, saved plans and usage analytics
Tool favorites, recent tools and home loan / EPF plans are saved in this browser. English and Chinese pages on the same site address share these records. Other devices, browsers and site addresses do not sync automatically. Clearing browser data may erase them. Export, restore or delete records from the home page. This backup excludes DividenNote, which has its own backup. Backup files are not encrypted; keep them private.
The site uses Google Analytics to measure page views and tool actions such as favorites, saving and restoring plans. These custom events contain only the tool identifier and page language, never amounts, plan names, stocks, entered values or backup files. Google Analytics itself may use cookies and device/browser information. You can manage cookies through your browser privacy settings.
Monthly cashflow records
The cashflow and emergency fund tool stores explicitly saved monthly records in this browser under a separate numbrite-cashflow-v1 key. Its backup excludes DividenNote and tool favorites/calculator plans; back up each separately. Amounts and backup files are not uploaded. Save-event analytics contain only the tool identifier and page language. Records and exports are not encrypted. Delete individual entries on the cashflow page or confirm restoring a backup to replace records. DividenNote monthly reviews read the existing journal without creating another portfolio copy.
Promotional links
Selected finance pages carry a labelled Moomoo MY promotion. This is a static promotional link, separate from Google advertising. The placement itself does not load Moomoo scripts. Clicking it opens Moomoo, where its campaign terms and privacy policy apply.
