Set a local deadline
Give the event a name and choose a date and time. The time is interpreted in this device’s local time zone. For an overseas event, first translate the advertised time into your local time; entering “9:00” does not attach a country or exchange time zone.
Why the display changes
The countdown compares the target with the device clock. If the target is tomorrow at the same local time, it will normally begin near 24 hours. A clock adjustment or daylight-saving transition can change that duration. The date-difference tool is better for counting whole calendar dates.
Keep expectations practical
A background browser tab can update less frequently. This page is a visual countdown, not a guaranteed alarm, push notification or booking service. Keep important deadlines in your calendar as well, and check the device clock if the remaining time looks wrong.
